Academic Hub #
I hold a Master of Computing (MComp) with Distinction from the University of Brighton, where my work focused on system and API design, artificial intelligence, and cloud-native architecture.
My academic journey is deeply intertwined with my professional practice, focusing on how complex systems—both technical and human—can be made more accessible, ethical, and efficient.
My Research Interests #
My current research explorations focus on:
- AI-Enabled Engineering: Exploring the ethical adoption of generative AI to reduce cognitive load, improve knowledge flow, and accelerate delivery.
- Human-Centric Systems: Designing frameworks that make powerful technology understandable and helpful, particularly for those who may be excluded by traditional system designs.
- API & Systems Architecture: Investigating scalable, resilient, and business-aligned architectural patterns for modern cloud environments.
- Ethics of Digital Access: Understanding the ways systems can unintentionally exclude or overwhelm the people they’re meant to support.
Academic Leadership #
During my time at the University of Brighton, I held several key leadership and mentoring roles:
- PASS Leader: Facilitated peer-assisted study sessions for computing students.
- School Rep (Computing & Maths): Represented STEM students at strategy panels, outreach events, and on the Student Council.
Papers & Publications #
I will be publishing academic-style papers and deep-dives here soon. Check back for updates!
